If we subtract the two positive numbers means determine the difference from large number. For example, find the difference between 55 and 30 and get the difference as 25.
In math subtraction, the ‘-‘ is used for representation.
Finite difference:
The differential equation subtraction is performed by finite difference. The math expression for finite difference is f(x + b) – f(x + a). There are forward, backward and central difference.
Other math difference:
Percent difference – The subtraction of two percentage is used in quality assurance.
Set difference – The representation of set difference is B\A that is elements of B is not in A. The formula for set difference is B \ A = { x = B | x = A }.
