Preparation for Arithmetic Problems

Introduction of preparation for arithmetic problems:
The earliest and mainly elementary division of mathematics is the arithmetic or arithmetics.  The arithmetic is approximately used by everyone, for assignments ranging from simple day-to-day counting to advanced science and business operations.

It presents the study of quantity, mainly as the effect of combining values. Generally the arithmetic properties contain the operations of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with the smaller values of numbers. Let we see about the answers for solve arithmetic problems.

Preparation for arithmetic problems:

Let we discuss about preparation for arithmetic problems.

Addition (+):

Addition is one of the most significant and fundamental process in arithmetic. The addition process is performed for joins two or more values. Addition can be represented using the symbol +(plus sign) that is, infix notation. This symbol is present among the two values. The outcome is articulated with an = (equal sign).

Preparation for addition problem:

Examples:

1 7 1
6 4 2  (+)

________

8 1 3

________

6.78
9.76  (+)

________

16.54

________

1145+383= 1528
743+0=743
4 7
5 0  (+)

______

9 7

______

Subtraction (-):

Subtraction is also a one of the fundamental process in arithmetic. It is reversible processes for additions that is, if we begin with any value and adds any value and then subtract the similar value we added, we back to the value we started with. The symbol used to represent the subtraction is – (minus sign) in infix notation.

The below format defines the subtraction,

y - z = x

here c- minuend, b-subtrahend, x- difference.

Preparation for subtraction problem:

108
9 7  (-)

________

1 1

________

1 2 3
0  (-)

______

1 2 3

______

(-171)-(171)=0
5-43= -38
25-20= 5

I have recently faced lot of problem while learning The least Common Multiple, But thank to online resources of math which helped me to learn myself easily on net.

More Preparation for arithmetic problems:

Multiplication (*,.,×):

Multiplication is one of the four fundamental process in arithmetic.  Multiplication is the process of  determining the value or quantity (product) get by the frequent addition of a particular value or quantity (multiplicand) a particular number of times (multiplier)

Preparation for multiplication problem:

3 × 5 = 15 (or) 3+3+3+3++ = 15.
120 * 0=0
-7*13= -91
20*5=100
-3*-9=27
Division (÷ or /):

The division process is used to finding how many times quantity is contained in another; the opposite of multiplication.

Preparation for division problem:

Divide 645 by 4
Solution:

645/4=161.25

-18/2= -9
0/32=0
-47/-47=1
